Central Agency for German Schools Abroad (ZfA)

RIS Swiss Section-Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok is also part of the network of 140 German schools abroad that are sponsored by the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA) on behalf of the German Federal Foreign Office. With financial support and excellent teachers from the Federal Republic of Germany, students of German schools abroad may obtain a bilingual education and German school leaving certificates.



Federation-Länder Commission for Schools Abroad (BLASchA) / Conference of the Culture Ministers (KMK)

The BLASchA is a committee of the KMK that is the assembly of ministers for education of each federal state in Germany. In the BLASchA delegates from federal states and the state of Germany work together to coordinate the field of schools abroad, whereas basic questions concerning German schools abroad as well as individual pedagogic, school management and didactic issues are discussed and statements on the German school systems abroad are drafted. Each year a federal delegate is sent to RIS Swiss Section-Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok to chair the Secondary I examinations. RIS Swiss Section-Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok has direct contact to the KMK in the process of organizing the exams of the German Language Diploma (DSD).
