Learning between traditional and digital media

Keeping the right balance between traditional and digital media is an important element of the curricula for our young learners. Traditional media like books help children develop basic skills and lay the foundation for further learning. Digital media, on the other hand, increase the teachers’ ability to apply concepts that motivate students to learn and achieve success . In the week before the school holidays, students of Grade 1a started using laptops and iPads with special learning apps. It was obvious they enjoyed working with these new learning tools!
