Whether in person, online from home or quarantine hotel rooms: It has been a busy week for our teachers from August 2nd to 6th. The school development and pedagogical development groups had organized a multitude of engaging sessions and workshops for the preparation of the new school year at RIS Swiss section. Fostering skills in the newest learning methods and technologies from Germany, Switzerland and Austria were the main topics in our further education. We also prepared personal learning and material packs for the students to ensure each of them is fully equipped for successful distance learning. The packs can be picked up according to the information in the last school info mail.
For a light touch and a bit of humor, teachers dressed up according to the theme
“Olympics” on Friday – positive thoughts and mindfulness will help us all getting through the pandemic period.
