We are a Thai/Swiss family with twin boys that are at the RIS Swiss Section for 10 years, since grade 1. Thailand and Switzerland enjoy a longstanding, strong bilateral bond and the authentic values of Switzerland plus our exceptional education system enjoy a high level of recognition here in the kingdom. Quality education, holistic learning and multilingualism tutored in a family-like environment makes this school unique. For our boys Luke and Simon it is of high value that the internationally recognized diplomas will allow them to choose whether to further educate themselves in Thailand, Switzerland or literally anywhere of their choosing.

We chose this school over 10 years ago mainly because of the solid Swiss curriculum that will keep all doors open for our children after graduation. The bonus is that the school also has a warm and inclusive family atmosphere, in which the children feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to learn. What we love about RIS Swiss Section is how it teaches our kids to be independent and self-confident. Critical thinking is an important feature of the Swiss and German education system (rather than just memorizing and repeating study content). Also, Swiss Section is a relatively small school community, which has almost a family-feel to it. A perfect environment for both kids and parents.
Our son David started his school career in a classic English private school environment. As parents we found it challenging to move from the UK to Thailand and change the school system from classic English to Swiss German. How surprised we were when we saw how our son immediately felt fully integrated into a community where cameradery amongst the students is paramount. David's teachers provide outstanding support with the German language! He's now practically bilingual. From the first day, David loved to go to school at RIS Swiss Section and now, almost two years after joining the school, we can't imagine a better place for him and for us as parents. We give this school a 10/10.
