Seelos Residence
The Seelos Residence, a cozy on-campus retreat amongst boarding schools in Thailand facility, is overseen by qualified teachers dedicated to fostering a caring, inclusive, and student-centered environment. Here, students are embraced into a boarding community akin to a “family away from home,” comprising a diverse group of open-minded peers and staff. While transitioning into residential life can evoke both excitement and apprehension, students are encouraged to engage with others, participate in extracurricular activities, and prioritize English communication.
- Daily academic support in the study hall and weekly math and science tutoring sessions enhance residents' learning experiences at Seelos.
- Students residing in Seelos have access to a diverse range of extracurricular activities offered by RIS, utilizing school facilities and organized weekend outings in Bangkok.

Meet Our Residence Coordinator Mrs. Alexandra Powell
I am an Australian who was also a full-time boarder a long way from my home for six years. My two daughters were also weekly boarders at the school I attended. I come to Seelos with experience of being a boarder and being a parent of boarders. I’ve been working in a boarding department for over six years, so I also know the ups and downs of living away from home and will be sure to help all the boarders settle into boarding life here at RIS. I worked at a British boarding school here in Thailand before joining RIS for the past few years and love living in Bangkok. I have managed to travel quite a lot over the past two years and look forward to more travel in Asia.
