Finance Manager (Thai National, full-time Position, 100%)
The RIS Swiss Section – Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok, a Swiss- and German-accredited school abroad with around 330 students from pre-kindergarten to the bilingual Swiss Matura, is looking for a committed professional to join our team.
For an immediate start or asap, we are looking for:
Finance Manager (Thai National, full-time Position, 100%)
In this key leadership role, you will oversee the school’s entire finance function and report directly to the Head of Administration, working closely with the School Leadership Team and the Board.
Your Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for finance and accounting operations in a school environment
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and ongoing budget control
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and Board reports
- Ensure full compliance with Thai tax and financial regulations
- Oversee payroll administration (salaries, statutory deductions, benefits, allowances)
- Manage cash flow and liquidity planning, and maintain strong internal controls
- Coordinate with auditors, authorities, and external partners
- Prepare required financial documentation for Swiss and German subsidies
Your Profile
- Thai national with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting (international experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of financial closing and Thai taxation
- Experience in budgeting and financial analysis
- Proven ability to act as a finance business partner to senior management or Boards
- Proficient in accounting software (Sage 300) and MS365
- Very good command of English (German is an advantage)
- Structured, reliable, and discreet working style

Internships
The RIS Swiss Section offers internships for students and prospective teachers in all subjects and at all levels (kindergarten/preschool, primary, and secondary). The internship includes 20 teaching hours per week, which may involve independent teaching, team teaching, classroom observation, substitute teaching, and supervision of lunchtime activities. A mentor will provide support throughout the internship. The internship is unpaid; however, we provide accommodation near the school and assist with visa and scholarship applications. Applications should be submitted approximately six months, but no later than three months, before the start of the internship.
Requirements:
Minimum internship duration: 15 school weeks (applications for longer periods are preferred)
Native-level proficiency in German; good English skills
A very high degree of independence
Above-average commitment
Interest in foreign cultures

IT Support Specialist
RIS Swiss Section – Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok is recognised by Switzerland and Germany as a government-approved school abroad, with students and teachers from different nationalities. The teaching program covers the entire range from pre-kindergarten to the bilingual Swiss Matura, with around 330 students and 55 teachers.
For an immediate start or asap, we are looking for:
Tasks:
Operational Support: direct technical support for staff and students (80%)
System Development: system maintenance and project work (20%)
Core Responsibilities:
Technical support and resolving problems
Hardware management and repair
- Software installation
Maintain extensive technical infrastructure, systems, and networks
Ensuring data storage is safe and secure
Project-Based Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and administration of Microsoft-based systems, covering DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, antivirus protection, security updates, service packages and patches
Assist in the development and execution of strategic IT initiatives
- Contribute to IT projects, such as cybersecurity planning, IT procedure development, and system maintenance strategies by providing technical input, documentation, and on-site support as part of a broader project team
Required Qualifications:
Thai national
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Practical experience with basic IT infrastructure (e.g. DHCP, DNS, LAN, firewall, antivirus, backup systems)
Good oral and written command of English
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Service-oriented mindset: able to support staff, students, and administrators effectively
Open-minded, a team player and at the same time works well independently
Desirable Skills (Not Required):
Good knowledge of photography and photo editing tools (Photoshop and Illustrator)
Basic knowledge of HTML or CSS
- Certificate in these fields: Azure, AWS, GCP, CISSP, CISCO, RHCA, etc.
