At RIS Swiss Section international school Bangkok, parents are valued partners in the educational journey of their children, playing an integral role in their development and growth. Just as each child embarks on a unique path of exploration and self-discovery within our school, the role of parents evolves over time. From actively engaging in classroom activities and parenting young children to fostering independence as their children mature, parents find myriad opportunities to participate in the life of the school community. Whether volunteering in at our snack sales and school events, or collaborating with teachers, parents at RIS Swiss Section are encouraged to be actively involved, contributing to the holistic education and well-being of their children.
Parents’ Council
At RIS Swiss Section, the Parents’ Council serves as a vital advisory body comprised of representatives from all classes, advocating for the interests of both students and parents within the school community. As a liaison between families and the school administration, the Parents’ Council plays a crucial role in fostering open communication, facilitating collaboration, and addressing concerns or suggestions from parents. By providing a platform for constructive dialogue and engagement, the Parents’ Council strengthens the partnership between families and the school, ensuring that the diverse needs and perspectives of the community are heard and considered in decision-making processes. Through their active involvement and commitment, members of the Parents’ Council contribute to the continued growth and excellence of RIS Swiss Section.
