Students begin structured career guidance for students in Grade 9 with a work experience program that introduces them to the professional world. Guidance continues through Grades 10–12 with orientation days, university-focused modules, and personal mentoring.

Yes. Our career guidance program helps students explore both academic and vocational routes — from university study in Switzerland, Germany, or abroad to practical apprenticeships — ensuring every student finds the path that best suits their goals.

As parents, our goal is to give our child a happy future – and we believe that starts with the right education.

When our family was searching for a school for our daughter, we wanted a school that not only provides academic excellence but also nurtures strong emotional intelligence (EQ), confidence, and independence. We also looked for a school that can give our daughter the opportunity to pursue any career she loves and still earn enough to live comfortably. (You know, not just to be only a doctor or an engineer.) That’s when we found RIS Swiss Section – Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok.

At the beginning, when our daughter first started at the school, we were quite concerned about whether she would be able to communicate and adjust, as she had no background in German at all. However, over time, we found that she was able to settle in comfortably and pick up the language quickly and very naturally. This is thanks to the school’s well-structured language support for students without prior experience, as well as the close care and attention provided by the teachers.

On the academic side, since no one in our family speaks German or has a Swiss education background, we mostly rely on the teachers and the school for our child’s learning. The school has done an excellent job, and we truly feel that our child is learning and developing step by step in a way that is appropriate for her age. Our daughter has not only gained more knowledge, but her social skills have also developed in a very positive way.

All of our child’s teachers so far have been wonderful role models and true professionals in the way they care for and guide the students. They provide excellent support in both learning and personal development, which makes our child excited to go to school every day. We don’t need to find extra tutoring outside of school, and as parents, we don’t have to struggle or argue with our child over homework. So, our family time is always quality time.
