The students of primary school had been looking forward to this trip for a long time: A visit to the ice-skating rink at Mega Bangna.
From the moment of entering the bus to the rink, excitement was in the air. A cool and wonderful morning was had by all. For some students it was the very first time on skates, but it is always amazing to see how quickly everyone progresses.
Ice skating has a long tradition in the German-speaking countries where many children learn to skate on frozen rivers and lakes in winter. Gliding on ice requires power, stamina, coordination and – of course – balance. All-important abilities which we aim to develop in our students in physical education classes, too.
