Bangkok, July 5, 2024 – RIS Swiss Section, the premier German-language international school in Thailand, proudly announces its strategic partnership with Borussia Dortmund, one of Germany’s most renowned football clubs in the Bundesliga.

Under this groundbreaking collaboration, the Bulldogs Football Academy at RIS Swiss Section will undergo a transformation into the Borussia Dortmund International Academy Thailand. This initiative aims to elevate the standards of football training in Thailand, fostering the development of both players and coaches alike.

A key highlight of this partnership is the permanent presence of Dortmund FC coaches at RIS Swiss Section in Bangkok. This presence ensures that football training and mentoring adhere to the highest international standards. Local coaches will work in tandem with their Dortmund counterparts, benefiting from their expertise and guidance.

Moreover, the partnership includes comprehensive training programs tailored for participating players and financial support aimed at local talent. Selected players and coaches will also have the opportunity to attend training sessions at the prestigious BVB Evonik Football Academy in Dortmund, Germany, further enriching their experience and skills.
